2nd August Embargo

I've been doing some thinking, and a couple of tweets from OS have made me think there's something else going into the game. In light of the event in NYC that SteveOS is attending, it has been stated that the build at E3 was DEFINITELY not final, and adding to this there is an embargo (sealed lips agreement) until the 2nd August, meaning no video capture at all is permitted.

Could it be, that they're saving another final announcement/addition to the game?

I really hope so, but that may be wishful thinking as that would be WAY TOO late in the development cycle to add in, de-bug and copy on millions of discs....

We shall see though...

Just because there is a embargo doesn't really mean there is still any big announcement coming. I think everything was reveiled at E3. Even ncaa 11 had a embargo until about release time. That's just standard with most video games companies. If there is a big announcement still not announced. I would be very surprise to tell you the truth.

Embargo is just a way to focus the news a bit, there's also another EA football title doing it's own post-launch marketing at the moment. I wouldn't get my hopes up is all.

There will be nothing new released about the game that is ground breaking. TRUST ME! I said the same thing when everyone thought great news would be released at E3.

hey guys, im under the same embargo. i had a chance to check out the game yesterday at the EA Hot For The Holidays event in midtown manhattan yesterday. No new announcements. In fact the guys i spoke with were more proud of the Wii version this year in regards to franchise. Apparently all their franchise resources went there as they revamped it quite a bit. game plays solid for sure but gameflow is annoying when playing friends in that you dont exactly know the plays they call for you.

^This^ We have all the information we need to know about this game. I'm sure once we get our hands on it we will find little tidbits of more info here and there.

There is an embargo there for the sole purpose of limiting negative press and reviews on the game so the hype machine can do its work
