why is there no pump fake in madden??

sure it says r2 or the right trigger if ur on 360 is to pumpfake, but press it n the qb doesnt do hardly anything, he leans his shoulder a lil bit thats all. why dont we have a way to really pump fake like in ncaa 11?? full directional arm movement. this isnt just in ncaa 11.....its been in nearly every football game made since ps2!!!

i just cany figure out why ea wouldnt put in a pump fake

It is in game, and works quite well. Its r1 on ps3.
R2 is the sprint button.

Well I think the better question is, why is there no pump fake that actually makes sense.

How does pressing the "pump fake" button make any sense what so ever? Who are you pump faking too? Dunno, its just a pump fake, I'm pump faking to EVERYONE and NO ONE!...

We should have the ability to pump fake to specific receivers, as it would be in real life. It should be that a super duper light tap of the receiver button would achieve this, or perhaps R2 + receiver button .. that could be another way.

But until we have a way to pump fake to a specific receiver, this feature will continue to be very very very very very idiotic to say the least.

yeah NCAA got it right by using the right trigger. You can flick towards whatever direction you want to pump in that direction.

If it is the 360 it is the RB button you hit to pump fake.
