These kinds of games don't happen that often a,d when they do we remember them, but how nice would it be for Madden 12 to have weather effects like these? one of the key effects to me for a Madden snow game would be how it could pile on, and at some point only the main 5-yard lines would be plowed. Also I would love to see the field turn to the mud bowl that madden 09 turned into again for some games. How nice would it be to have a franchise post season game that both looked and played out like this one?

I agree I think weather should be a factor in games and have the field represent this...I think Madden 08 or 09 had a ton of mud in the Jerseys (so much that you couldnt tell which team was which)

Imagine playing in the fog bowl (Eagles vs Bears Playoff game), where you couldn't see two steps in front of you

There was one edition of madden that did this really well, I think it was last gen...you had little clouds of breaths all over the field, etc...and it felt like you were playing on snow

As far as the weather affecting on field play, I couldn't kick 30+ yard FGs in the rain on '10. Would always come up short.

I thought '10 did a better job of having you feel the conditions. Rain drops in the camera were a nice touch.

I've been asking for this for nearly 10 years. Even Sega Genesis (16 bit system) had weather that changed during the game. I think today's developers are too new or young to remember what real programmers did with limited space. Today, it is only about graphics nothing that actually impacts the game.

What I like more then anything is a snow game in the NFL. I really hope in a few years from now they redo the wheather system in madden and make it better. But I guess we will have to do with what we have right now.
