You have to have 4 confirmed members in a squad (green dot by their name/Gamertag and online pass code entered on the squad site), including yourself, to get the coins.

typical. i was excited about the coins too. they didnt think that maybe some people dont have any friends on their facebook that play madden. i might as well delete the app from my facebook then

That's false, I got my coins last night and I didn't have any members in my squad. I just created one and they gave me points.

Well, the rules stated that you had to have 4. Guess you lucked out.

As I expected, it wasn't 20,000 per squad (I created 2 and joined 1). I was hopeful, but I figured they wouldn't give out more than one 20,000 coin "prize" per person.

But I just checked, and I finally have my coins, so thank God for that.

EDIT: The rules were poorly worded. Apparently, you only had to have 4 confirmed members to be entered to win the game tickets and such, not the coins. However, this forum and others (even EA's official forum) had people saying you had to have 4 for the coins.
