We need more possession catching animations

I was playing and getting frustrated by all the dropped/broken up passes i was seeing, specifically by bears receivers and i was wondering why it was happening so much.

After watching a few games last night it hit me that when WRs go over the middle, they tend to catch the ball and curl up imeadiatley pretty much all in one motion, however in madden this never happens. Sure there are supposedly diving catches in the game now (which i have yet to see) however, WRs need to start making possession catches so that they dont get blown up as much and lose as many passes.

its still not going to give an option of holding triangle for possession catch or tap it for an aggressive one like the had in 09 (i liked). i would like to see more options on catching as well, especially over the middle...i don't know why this was ever removed but i'd like to see it reimplemented.

Its true I'm a Bears fan and i'll be the first to admit the recievers don't have very good hands ( except for Earl Bennet ) But Johhny Knox has 86 catching and Earl Bennet only has 85? He didn't drop one pass last year... To see go to plays for specific players and you can see overall and some attributes.

I agree with the original post in a way. Seems like there arent to many WR catch animations. I'd like to see more jump and catched the ball in the stomach plays and other stuff like that
