Team for franchise.

What team should I use in franchise, I want a team with a good running game, an average to bad QB, and a bonafided number 1 WR.

Thanks in advance.

It's all about the awful teams, to see how far you can get a team starting with the first overall picks in your first year as GM. Making a "cupcake" team or releasing all of the good players on a team is a fun way to test your skills as a GM.

Re: Team for franchise.

Teams with good RB's, average QB's, and top flight receivers:

Carolina Panthers
San Francisco 49ers (if you consider Crabtree elite)
Buffalo Bills
New York Jets (I think Edwards, Holmes, Cotchery, and Coles are all 80+)
Arizona Cardinals

That should about do it.

Re: Team for franchise.

miami may be a team to consider. good runningbacks and a very solid run blocking Oline. Henne rated high 70's with A pot. And a #1 WR Brandon Marshall

Re: Team for franchise.

Every year I try my best to get into franchise mode, offline, but after one season I get bored. I enjoy this game so much, but playing with one team just does nothing to keep me interested. I thought about controlling all 32 teams to give myself some variety, but that would take forever to play through a season, I don't like to sim. I also like the idea of building my home town Rams back up, but again I get bored midway through the season and end up playing online, which already has me discouraged. What are you all doing to keep yourselves interested? I really want to be able to dig deep into this mode and enjoy it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
