Have you ever watched Chris Johnson play?

Thats what he does.

One missed tackle, or bad angle at the 2nd level, and he's ghost.

YOu warent going to find the perfect be-all, end-all defensive play.

Your goal needs to be doing as much as you can to prevent the homerun, back breaking run.

You need to do some forcing back to the inside manually..either with a DL, LB, or S.

Go into practice mode, against the Titans on all madden, and practice sreading and defending tosses.

Half the battle is blowing up the gaps, before the blocking has a chance to develop.

You have to eliminate angles.

Its there. I use it quite a bit when I play the Tenn Johnsons.

Edit: I always send one OLB too. I use the default Texans book. 4-3 with some type of zone blitz behind it, or Just a 2 man under with manual blitzing.

Re: Defending Speed

This is why I am glad to be moving out of the NFC North division in my online franchise.

Both the Bears' and Vikings' offenses are pretty much unstoppable in this game due to the Bears' speed and the Vikings' combo of speed and power.

Acceleration and agility may matter a little bit more this year, but at the end of the day, speed still conquers all forms of defense in Madden -- especially when it comes to pass coverage.

Yeah, I think you can only do it offline because I do not see a spotlight online when holding down RT and the button but perhaps its splotlighting without showing the spotlight?

kinda like you cant see who the user is controlling until after the ball is snapped.
