Defence offside penalty?

Has anybody seen the defence jump for encroachment yet?

Not in 2 years! Not in '10 or '11. I see guys jump, but they always get back. They really need to fix that!

Nope. I'm 5 games in my madden 11 chise and only once did I see an AI player slightly move.

In madden 10 I played 10 years of a franchise and only in the first couple games did I see any movement and only 1 offside penalty.

Apparently the Madden dev team don't think offsides exist in football. Interesting.

I have NO CLUE why it is so hard for EA people to get penalties fixed in their football games.

the defense can jump offside and back onside, provided that they don't touch the defensive player, the ball is not snapped, or induce a false start.
