Most realistic/fun to play quarter time length?

First off, I apologize because I know how many threads there are out there with this kind of information in them, however, when I searched, all I could find were the sliders threads which didn't help me out that much.

So I decided to post this thread in regards to solely the much asked quarter length question.

I play 13 min with a 25 sec runoff and I feel I get great numbers when it comes to the number of plays... I have my fatigue slider set pretty higher (67 I think) so it subs out a lot of my players for me which is good so you dont have your number one back getting 40 carries... But I really feel you just have to find the right number for you... Myself I dont make and pre snap adjustment, so I snap the ball at 14-15 seconds left on the play clock, now if you like to run the play clock down to 3-4 seconds you may want to play a full 15...

Over on another sports gaming forum, a few guys said that they play 8 minute quarters with the 15 second run-off, and find that the most realistic and satisfying to use.

I'm just curious if anyone here agrees?.

For as long as I've been playing Madden (since 2000), I've never been able to work with the authentic 15 min quarters. But this year, I'm able to play 15 min quarters with 25 sec runoff and I'm able to get a game finished in approx. 1 hr. 15 min. and I get near 60-70 plays per team.

Well I just messed around with a few different time lengths, and I'm kind of liking the 9 minute quarters with the 15 second clock run-off.

I tried the authentic 15 minutes; too long.

If anyone else has anymore thoughts, etc. I'd definitely be glad to hear them.

8 minutes for me......anything longer and my stats get way too high along with the scores.
