2 Player Franchise?

First let me explain, I'm mostly an NCAA dynasty type of person. Currently in year 2, and loving every minute of it.

However I am a big NFL fan, and really do enjoy Madden very much.

Lately, the wife and I have been playing Madden exhibition games. She's new to the whole football gaming thing, but catching on really well, and very fast.

So we were wondering, does Madden have a 2 player franchise option, or based on the said situation, can anyone field some ideas on how both of us could have our own team and constantly be competing against each other?

Choose all 32 teams and each week sim all games except the one you wanna play and have your wife pick the opposite team to play with. Or you both pick your favorite team and the other is always the opponent

My girlfriend encourages me to play because it gives her time to clean the house. If I'm not playing she feels the need to hang out and cuddle with me. After a few hours of playing I still feel guilty and ask if she wants me to stop and she always tells me no that she still wants the time to herself
