Found how to make GameFlow not make LBs cover WR!!!

I've tried this vs a team that had 5 wides. Same results: gameflow will call a "normal" play vs. 3+ wr sets on 1st downs. Curiously, it also called a "normal" play vs 3+ wrs on 2nd and short and 2nd and goal (within the 5 yd line).

There is also a danger if a wr or cb is subbed in for another. Even if one has the correct defense on the field, the game will randomly assign a lb to a wr.

Are you sure that your assigning a CB to at least 5 of their WR? If you have 6 CB's, then I suggest using all of them.

Well, right now I only have 5 healthy cbs. One thing I didn't do was move the healthy guys up in the depth chart, so I'll do that when I get a chance and post my results.

If it matters I'm playing on the PS3


eta: Playing my next franchise game vs. the Bears. They only have 4 wr, but I did change my cb depth chart. Still no change.

This doesn't pertain directly to the title of this thread but I think it's related. I posted the results in a different thread, but I've found the CPU sometimes calls plays from the Trips defense on long yardage situations. I was attempting to learn how the star ratings worked and inadvertently found this bug. Oh! I forgot to mention, occasionally while playing against the CPU, it calls offensive plays that aren't in the gameplan I assigned to it.

One thing this does fix is defenders switching coverage assignments, which is great if you really want that lb covering that rb and not the wr, but not so hot when you have 2 cbs defending 2 wrs. You have to take the bad with the good, I guess.
