linebackers make great players in offline franchise

idk if anyone else does this in offline franchise, but average or good linebackers make great de',dt's,fs, and ss. In my franchise i usually draft alot of linebackers or sign a few vets and change their position and it turns out they make even better or great safety's or d linemen. i strive on this to keep my team's defense good. anyone else do this? If anyone has the name, position, old rating, and new rating post here

I always do that. It also helps save some cap money too if you sign a low rated LB to a few years and then convert him to the position (usually DE's for me).

yea same here. sign em for low money and alot of years. they also make good trade value. i was wondering if it only works for linebackers or if there were other positions you could do this with

I know a couple:

Halfback to Fullback (could go both ways)

FB to TE (For a speedy guy who can catch, not neccessarily block)

CB to FS SS

Sometimes I like a tall WR too so I might find a fast and tall TE and move him there.
