they just need to patch the CPU kick return blocking, not the user

If you pick anything other then Middle return, then the blockers end up running 30 yards up field basically leaving the returner on his own. If you use a two man return system, then one of the guys will stay on his side of the field waiting for the other guy to get the ball.

Middle return is the only return that works. I prefer if they just removed left and right return.

I had 7 tds. 30 yard average. 1500 return yards.

It's a matter of making it more "random" IMO.

You either get 20 yards or a TD. That's it.

This exactly what I was getting at when I originally made my post. It's not a problem with the USER return game BUT the CPU return. The runners almost never bounce to the outside and the blocking is just horrible. It's like the threat of a return is non-existent when you play the CPU. In the NFL, teams are wary when they kick to guys like Josh Cribs, DeShaun Jackson or Devin Hester for the simple fact that they can return it at any time. In Madden, the strategy is almost eliminated because I don't have to worry about that.

I must be doing something really stupid with my returns. I use return middle all the time and get a touchdown, maybe once or twice a season?
