In Madden, I don't think the size / weight of a player makes any difference... It's all in the attributes.

With that said, I would therefore keep VandenBosch for the time being as a DE. His ratings are comparable or better in most respects to Ziggy Hood. You would be gaining little, if anything, by trading for Hood while taking on a massive cap penalty in year two for trading KVB. Keep KVB for year 1, look for a replacement in the draft, move KVB to backup duty, wait until year three and then dump him when the cap penalty won't be as severe.

You don't need to make a "realistic" 3-4 defense with 3-4 players... because Madden doesn't care. The only thing the matters are the attribute ratings... and Ziggy is not an upgrade.

yeah i'm just keep everybody until the year ends then i will go from there i'm just rotate everybody so where they get plenty of chances to prove themselves
