He dropped the easy pick...

Every game I hear He dropped the easy pick, usually quite a few times each game; then, we also have the He should have had that one. Yes, he should have, but this is Madden and...

Is there some reason why the DBs try to avoid catching the ball? I mean, so many times they swat the ball away as if the ball had skunk oil all over it. Ah yes, pass deflections, and I guess that's what it is when the ball goes through their hands or bounces off the chest. Of course this happens in real life, just not as often.

If the DB's picked off every pass they touched you would have 5-10 interceptions a game... Remember, they DO play defense, they don't have the hands of a WR

This may not be true but I've found that if you actually control the DB making the play and use the Y button, you'll intercept more passes than trusting the CPU DB's to get the pick themselves...

I've done that, controlling DB and using Y button. Oh, I know they can't catch every pass, but I see too many of those that should be caught--and I hear He dropped.... way too much. I am in the ninth season of my franchise and it's getting me nauseous--He dropped the easy pick.

I don't have a problem with the DB's dropping the ball in Madden as I see it happen, IRL at the time. I mean, all the time.

Players drop easy picks all the time IRL. I'm fine with them doing it in Madden.

Players drop easy INT's all the time? Are some of you trying to suggest that in just about every NFL game you see 5+ defenders get hit in the numbers for a drop? Cause that's what you get in Madden, because untouched incomplete passes are about as rare as the CPU punting inside your 20.

You're getting 5 or more easy pick attempts a game?

I get like 3. And normally drop like 2 of them.
