Franchise questions

In the offseason menu (the one with the draft after the staffing one), how can I cut guys that have contracts expired? Guys with contracts that are up and I don't want to resign. My choices seem to be either resign the player, apply franchise tag, or let the cpu simulate it. Am I missing something?

Similar thing with re-ordering the depth chart. I get it like I want it, then I have to let the cpu auto-reorder the depth chart. Thanks for your help.

Go into franchise options and make sure it's all set to user. Then you should be able to advance to the next step without the CPU re-doing stuff for you.

Yeah, and I haven't run into it this year so far, but in previous Maddens you do have to check every once in a while because for whatever reason the options jump to CPU at random.

It isn't random, it's whenever you sign a new head coach.

If you sign the same head coach after his contract is up, it doesn't switch.
