11 and it wouldn't be a bad idea to try them all out anyway cause you will find one that fits your playstyle perfectly

I would play with every team at least twice then narrow it down to which teams you would want to try out

Although I tried the Seahawks offense playbook (my fave) using the Lions and found it less useful due to the different players Detroit has on call (1 minor deity pretending to be a WR, others not so great, Stafford can throw the ball to the moon so short throws pointless, etc etc).

An alternative is to use the same team and swap playbooks around. (just suggesting)

I'm only controlling two teams in Madden 2011(Lions and Seahawks)

What playbooks should I do first in first season and should I skip preseason games?
