Madden 07 or should I stick to Madden 2010

Does Madden 07 on the PS3 has trophies or no trophies like Madden 09?

If you go 07, go 07 last generation. It's one of the best Maddens ever made. In short, franchise mode. Player roles, moral, pre-season position battles, storyline central, scouting break downs of your opponents, a nice off season. It's really good. It's downside is a lack of hand crafted rookies, and it's lack of potential based progression. I still liek the week 5, 11, and 17 progressions though. I like that the game "re-evaluates" your players at 3 points during the season. In Madden 10, with the default out-of-the-box rosters, Vernon Davis was a 78 or 79 OVR. By the last update he was like a 95 or 97 or something. You were stuck with 78-ish OVR Vernon Davis all season long in Madden 10. In-season progression would add more depth. It would have to be scaled properly, but it would show a rookie getting better or a veteran "hitting the wall."

Agree 100% Madden 2007 PS2/Xbox was awesome. PLayed that game to death till I went new gen and picked up 2010 which got stale in a matter of 3 months.

However If your deciding between 2011 and 2007 it comes down to graphics. If you love HD (like me I can't play my PS2 anymore) and can control all 32 teams in your franchise MAdden 2011 is a ton of fun and work with the right sliders and gameplanning.

If your going to stick to last Gen 2007 is the ticket. 2005 is also fantastic as well. And on Xbox there was anoher football game made in 2005 that was pretty darn good.

That PS3 madden 07 looks like straight garbage, lol. Yea, I skipped on next gen 06 and 07.

I learned from my PS2 days the first 2-3 sometimes 4 titles of the games are not better than the previous gen. usually they get it right after a few years. Madden is a perfect example. 2011 is hands down the best they made thus far on next gen.

2011 may be the best in terms of graphics and presentation on next gen but it's certainly not the best in terms of gameplay. When below average players in 2010 are now as good as anyone else in 2011, that's not a good thing.

Outcast, this question made me laugh for a second, but you can find majority of the Maddens at your local gamestores PS2/XBOX used game bins for .99 cents and up to 20.00 bucks if you go the route of Madden 10.
