Say I was running a franchise with the Cardinals and I fired McGinnis. Could I in turn try and hire say...Andy Reid away from the Eagles? I think one should be able to at least try, though I hope it wouldn't be too easy. Anyway does anyone know about this?

I don't know if you can sign another head coach that is still under contract, but if you sign someone else's coordinator you have to give them a promotion. You can't sign an offensive coordinator from another team to be your OC, you have to make him your head coach.

Hmmm...it seems like there should be at least a little lateral movement.....Maybe they have something similar to the Free Agents where a coach who isn't fired by their old team goes into the coach pool and you can sign them to the same position they held previously.

Judging from that 20 minute movie, you canm but only when they are fired. The whole system seems awesome, how each coach has his own rating, for 6 different categories.

If Andy Reids contract was up, you should be able to hire him.
I saw on one video that the team was looking for a new D cord, and B.Billick was listed in the FA pool, but still under contract with the Ravens. So maybe you can hire away, kinda like Raiders and Bucs.
But dont quote me cause i havent played the game.

That's cool...I wouldn't want it to be rampant or anything but I certianly think it should happen sometimes.
