Question on Motion

Is there a trick to send players into motion. I go to the hot screen and it says push right or left for motions but no motion ever happens.

Anyone know how to do this?

Have you hit circle (PS3) to select the receiver that you want to send in motion? And have you made sure that it's not a play with motion already in the design (if it is, the motion happens automatically once you push X to snap the ball)

I'll have to try the circle. I hit the d=pad right or left and see no way to select a receiver will have to try the circle. Thank you!
