Yes, I agree that the Madden DEMO is very poor. I prefer the ESPN NFL 2K4 DEMO eventhough it is from May.

I have the demo also and everyone runs very different from last year. Maybe in traffic it is a little jerky, bouncing off of blocker and such, but when you get in the open field it is not herky jerky like 2k3. It isn't totally smooth, but 10 times better than last year.

I think the NCAA Roster's not working (for now) is a big deal but people who just like Madden will still go with Madden. It wont affect the sales that much, but there will be alot of refunds.

vivant can you please state why there will be a lot of refunds? i would love to know why all of a sudden a madden fan will not love his madden game?

Uh, I did read the whole post, sport, especially this line:

My point: How the hell does he know ESPN NFL will be a better game without playing the full versions of both games? The crystal ball doesn't mean sh*t until you've played the full versions of both games.

You do realize that the DEMO is from a very old build right?
The new videos show much smoother run animations.

If your a die hard fan - You will keep Madden and enjoy the same old stuff with John and the gang.
If your like me and wanted Madden this year for a change and they dropped the ball on rosters and the gameplay is kinda weak, You will bring it back without hesitation.
