Can't DL Patch 1.05

I was having some issues with the game, mainly freezing, so I deleted the game and tried reinstalling. It started up with a prompt for Patch 1.05 and I clicked OK but the PS3 beeped twice and the screen went blank. I see the game is installed with no version and won't advance. When I tried to start the game, I again got that 1.05 prompt but screen is frozen!

I know it isn't the PS3 because I was able to install Madden 10 and do the 1.03 patch. What could be the problem?

Where did you see me say that? Just because I post of things found wrong doesn't mean I can't stand the game--what that means is I care and would like to see improvements.
