it says "finding last saved franchise" and sits there until I have to restart my franchise. I can only get into my franchise by hitting Load Franchise.

Ok............

I always just load. I don't worry about resuming anything. It's the same thing.

well before the patch you hit resume and it saves a little of time not having to pull up your saved files.

Yep same here...after the 4th patch it never worked again.

Just load it.

Issue solved.

resume has worked fine for me both pre and post patch

I haven't had an issue with "resume" (fingers crossed), but I didn't start my franchise until after the last patch.
