For those of you who actually own Madden 04 - how do you rate so far?

I gave it a 9 it's a solid game but there is still room for improvement and i was a little disappointed that some of the things that were in NCAA didn't make it to Madden(like DB's looking back, kick off wedges, and greatest games)

8. It's been better than I expected, but I'm not exactly playing the game every single chance I get.

The Human defensive AI is brutally bad in my opinion. I am going to play with the sliders, but the core game play is currently piss poor. This is the first year I have the XBox version though so perhaps it has been this bad for a while. The PC version last year did a good job of defending the pass.

Its tons better than last years game. The gameplay is much much better too. I gave it a 9/10.

I'd give it 9. The owner mode is incredible and the gameplay has been improved some. I just wish they'd improve the graphics. When even the PS2 version of ESPN looks tons better than the XBox version of Madden, that should be a hint to EA that a significant graphical improvement is needed.

I gave it an 8.5 because I there are things that bother me with the game. I enjoy the game, but I am dissappointed that 1) Head Tracking is missing 2) Ping-Pong Physics show up too much and 3) bland and hard to see overlays.
