Online Franchise Trade

Didn't see a rate my trade thread so I figured I'd just start a new topic.

Playin as the Browns in an online franchise and I'm really sturggling on whether to go through with this trade or not with the Saints. I really need a playmaker at the WR spot but losing the one shining light on my O-line has me hesitant. Going into the draft at the end of the season I'm going to pick up a WR w/ my 1st round pick or a lineman if I go w/ this trade. Any suggestions?

Browns get:

M. Colston 89 ovr Wr
J. Bushrod 79 ovr LT

Saints get:
J. Thomas 95 ovr LT

Re: Online Franchise Trade

Yea I ended up not doing it when I got offered Maclin and some young O-line help for Hillis, Mack and a WR buried in the depth charts. Worked out a lot better I think than giving up my best lineman

A good oline really isn't important in madden. Colston isn't fast and I generally find possession guys to be ineffective as well. I'd call it a wash. One of these days oline rating will matter

I dunno, I have found playing with teams with really good o-lines is so much better than playing with teams with crappy lines.

Always holes open, plenty of pocket time, etc.

I haven't tested this theory but it's what I think. O-line ratings matter for 75ovr and above. Anyone under 75ovr is just equal due to if they programmed opine ratings to fully match the ovr people would play kickers and wr as their oline for fun and see them crumble which would obliterate gameplay because the oline is the whole key to simulated football
