Offline Franchise Quesion

I play a ps3 offline franchise with my buddy and we used to use the ea locker when they had it to transfer the franchise file. then when they got rid of that we used to email it but now when i email the file to him it wont let him load the franchise file on his ps3 because the file was created on my ps3. does anybody know if there is a way to make it work
