Funny indeed, because I kinda feel the same--although I did buy Madden 11, only to trade it in some weeks later. However, I do often get an itch to play some football, but I always end up playing another sports game instead.

Same feeling I have. I'm playing NHL with a created Cleveland team over football, and the bottomline is whatever game gives me that "jump outta my seat and cheer" feeling when I score will keep me coming back for more.

I won't go into specifics here, but the playoff atmosphere in Madden is sorely lacking, period. Another big reason why I don't play it anymore...

I am currently in the post season of my year one (32 team) franchise where I actually play as 4 teams. It has never taken this long to get through a season for me yet alone it is year one of my chise. I will finish it up this weekend and move into the off-season and see if i have a desire to actualyl play a second season. The game no doubt has lost it's luster with me when i compare it to other sports titles I play.

NBA 2K11 happened in October and Madden went to the shelf for the most part (was playing non-stop till then).

I like the game. But like many feel it needs to improve drastically in the presentation and offline franchise mode to keep me playing and buying it. I think game play wise it is my favorite Madden, but like it has been posted a thousand times, the game is coming up short in an immersive franchise mode, and Network style presentation. EA needs to really knock the ball out of the park with Madden 12 to get my dollars this year. On the other hand I continue to play NCAA 2011 with as much joy and glee as I did back in July of 2010. They really did a superb job on the college game and that is a title I see myself playing for years.

Nothing against Madden, but after the Super Bowl its retired for me.

I just have too many other sports I play throughout the year. NBA 2K, FIFA, and NHL are about to take over. Plus The Show and Fight Night will be out soon.

I've ran Madden in the ground since the season started. Enjoyed it..... .

I'll keep playing. Hopefully until Madden 12 drops.

But come March 8, Madden will be backing up The Show on my PS3, so it won't get as many reps as it gets now.
