Why didn't they make them the same as NCAA 2004, sky punt, out of bounds left or right, and the returns, safe.....it seems in NCAA you have more room to maneuver!

I don't know the answer to your question my friend but last night I saw an animation I have never seen before on madden. I punted the ball inside the 10 yard line and one of my guys in an attempt to down the ball jumped in the air just before the goaline to try and swat the ball back onto the field so someone else could down the ball. I thought to myself after seeing that, dam that was pretty freaking cool. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this because I have never seen it before.

The CPU did it to me. The ball bounced at the 3 yard line, towards the endzone. It got about 2 yards into the end zone when one of hte CPU guys dove in and slapped the ball back out, where it was downed at the 2 yard line.

I was enraged and amazed at the same time
