Fixing the lag PS3

Is there any way to fix the stuttering offline when you snap the ball on the PS3? It's literally so bad it makes the game unplayable for me.

When I snap I get huge lag for maybe 3 seconds and then it's fine until the next play. The demo worked fine however.

Funny I have a ps3 and have no such problems....i find that loading the game, saving, changing menus to be a bit slow however.

I have the game for both systems,its way better on the xbox 360,,it lags on the ps3 because they still port it over from the xbox 360...
