EA is just plain garbage nowadays. Back on the Genesis, it was king, but now, they just put any ol' junk out there, especially for XBOX users.

Man what a stupid post.
EA does make a little game called NCAA Football 2004 ya know, which most people seem to like alittle bit.

NCAA Xbox does have this little problems on it that PS2 users don't have.

I don't know that cleaning the xbox is going to do anything. I think it is a problem with EA games in general. My xbox is only a few months old and I have gotten the dde from NCAA from the get go. I have not had a game from any other company do this even once, but NCAA does it all the time and Madden one time so far (but I'll wait and see on that one).

You should be able to get Microsoft to fix it for free. I was having DDEs on all my Xbox games but I got fixed free and I haven't had one ever since.

I wouldn't open the XBOX because I assume it's new and you'll void the warranty. I'd get one of those CD/DVD cleaning kits. Usually can find them at Best Buy or a place like that.

GeePee20 makes another good point. I know Microsoft has released 7-8 versions of the XBOX so far. It very well could be a problem with your XBOX and Microsoft could send you a new one if you complain to them enough.

My friends PS2 stopped reading CD's, but was fine on DVD's. He called Sony and they acknowledged the problem and as long as he paid shipping/handling, they fixed it for free. I think they just replaced the laser. He was without his PS2 for 1.5 weeks, but now he said it works like new and was glad he did it.

If you want to continue posting here you need to do 2 things.

1) Write in English.

I think its laser alignment more than anything. This is why some Xbox's can't read CD-RWs and other things. The laser might be disaligned by being moved or something.
