New routes for receivers

EA should add these routes into Madden 12 -

1. Long Fade route (An example done by Steve Smith at 1:05-1:44) - http://www.nfl.com/videos/carolina-p...ith-highlights

Also, new audibles should be added to the pre-snap plays on offense. Here's an example of how they should be mapped out (with some new controls):

(Directional Pad)

Up - Streak
Down - Smoke
Left - Out Left
Right - Out Right

(Right Stick)

Up - Goal Line Fade (1-9 yrds)
Down - Curl
Left - Slant Left
Right - Slant Right
Up/Left - Slant-and-Go
Up/Right - Long Fade (10+ yrds.)
Down/Left - Drag Left
Down/Right - Drag Right
RS/R3 - Smart Route

And finally, hopefully Madden 12 sees the return of Create-A-Playbook and Create-a-Play from the Last-Gen of Madden gaming. Anyone agree?

Personally I'd rather see on-the-fly audibles and/or some ability to call two plays in the huddle implemented rather than adding more hot route mappings.

If the idea behind Madden is to simulate professional football, the concept of hot routes doesn't really jive with that. Quarterbacks don't draw new plays in the dirt at the line of scrimmage in real life. Rather they call out pass protection changes and will audible to new plays based on what they see in opposing defenses' alignment.

Put that hand-in-hand with a robust playbook creator and I'd be happy.

I agree 110%, I also wish they had custom hot routes, I remember being able to select post, cross ect. as hot routes. So at the very least let us choose what hot routes we wish to use. They should also make the audible system exactly like NCAA, where if you want to call an audible the entire playbook will become available to you. Not just 5 or 6 pre-selected plays.

I agree 100%. I need to be able to hot route to whatever route I want to..

Definitely. especially the screens and turnarounds those are majorly important. Also I'd like to be able to create some good routes.

I just want route running to be in the game period. WRs having to plant there feet and actually make cuts would be huge for me.
