NCAA more informative than Madden.

Just wondering why NCAA is so open with info, and revealing of their product, proudly showing off their newest title with pics, videos and piles of info of all the new developements...while Madden continues to be so secretive and stingy with any kind of info. Teasing us with little bits every now and then, never exposing anything solid or really informative. I've especially noticed this the last couple of years, and once again this year, nothing solid as of yet to what type of changes and improvements, just a few morsels of info once in awhile. Is this a marketing ploy? If it is, I much rather like NCAA's style, be loud and proud with nothing to hide! Just wondering.

This was answered in another thread like this last week.

1. NCAA is released 6 weeks earlier than Madden.

2. Madden is releasing info this week.

I don't think a week makes that much difference.

Agreed. A week difference is nothing especially with the difference in release dates

First NCAA less informative when Madden dropped the teaser, now Madden is less.
It starts this week.

I kinda agree with the OP. I know Madden is doing their info explosion this week. But overall there were things bout NCAA we knew was going to either make the game or make an attempt. mostly from the Art Departments such as Cheers, Cheerleaders, Bands, Cannons . But that's also an aspect to college that makes it different to nfl. This week I think we are going to see some new stuff that may apply to both games, but madden has the right to put it out there first.

I think EA has the right to market NCAA first because it comes out first. 6 week difference in release dates.
