give your franchise players large bonuses and less money total too. i always sign my franchise players for like MAX bonus, with a significant dip in the total amount owed.. the others i dont give much of a bonus too..

10% less than what they want, that seems to be the magic number for me.....

For example, if they want $17 million, I'll give them about $15.5 million (10% less is $15.3 mill) and I almost always get the player to sign UNLESS you give them a crappy signing bonus.
