Is anyone else noticing how all these devs are leaving to spots at social gaming companies?

Because all those social gaming companies make a ton of money and the games are probably less difficult to develop. Probably not as criticized by the folks that play them, either.

Seriously is this really a loss or an overall plus for the company as Strauser has worked as EP on Madden NFL (08,10,11), NCAA Football (08, 09, 10),

These were the horrible years which is funny he worked on NBA Jam which showed similarities in these games.

These guys are choosing to leave EA, they aren't being fired because of some kind of backlash from the community. Most likely their new positions are offering them career oppontunities they couldn't pass up or there is something going on behind the scenes that is making these guys want to leave.

Can't say I'm disapointed tho. Some fresh blood is probably the best thing that could happen to this tired, stale franchise.

Not everyone would agree but I found him to be argumentative on the forums when it came to suggestions, and he downright ignored me among other peers on twitter. I wish him the best of luck but wish he would have truly listened more to the guys who have been playing this game since the days of 1992 and Sega.

No. Typical Corporate crap. When a guy takes a head role at a new company much like a head coach at a new school or NFL team...they bring their people in.

Same thing going on here. This just opens the door for other young bucks to make their mark at EA.

Nothing to see here IMO. Just the natural progression of the workforce in a company.

I'm not complaining at all...Madden needs to take a different direction and maybe some new management will get them to the promised land.
