Question prototypical charts

So i have found the Bill Parcell Draft Confidential prototypical chart for the Defense... I think this is useful with scouting on Madden if you wanna draft like a GURU(opinions respected on parcells lol) Now i jus have to find the chart for the Offense

Re: prototypical charts

I'm not sure any semblance of this will be relevant in Madden. It depends on how the game is made.

Re: prototypical charts

I suppose this would be useful if one wished to try to draft how a real NFL team would draft. For those concerned with as much realism as possible then it should be useful.

By re-posting threads that have been closed, you clog up the main page. There was a reason why it was closed before.

First, off if you have a problem or don't understand something , PM a mod , don't air it in the forums. If you haven't read the TOS yet, it's stickied in Steve's Forum.

Second, is this what he's looking for for his 3-4 defense? So these are the physical attributes he requires?

It seems like this won't translate to Madden at all... the engine is missing so much in terms of weight/speed etc.

It has both 3-4 and 4-3 players in the chart.

I actually thought this was really cool when I first saw it about a month ago. I used it as a fluid guideline when I drafted.

Re: prototypical charts

This could potentially be cool, but these physical attributes don't have much meaning in Madden, as others have said. Also, the Madden draft classes have a lot of players in them with really weird sizes (like 5'11 centers and defensive tackles and such), so the classes wouldn't correspond well with these metrics.

It's kind of a bummer that they don't. Teams put a lot of stock into ht/wt measurables. That's why players like MJD and Desean Jackson went in the 2nd round. But, sometimes there will be a 5'9" DT in the first with Madden's generated drafts.

One thing I was excited to read about was that imported NCAA classes will take into account the height and weight of players.
