So, bottom line, don't play randoms?

Man we are on 2 totally different planes here....
Where did anyone say the CPU rolled like that? He said UNLESS YOU PLAY ONLINE, you have nothing to worry about. Which means the CPU won't do that to you or in other words ---You only have to worry about that if you play online.

His post had zero to do with helping anything. He just made a statement that online would be where there would be an issue IF in fact it is an issue.

Just a bit of misunderstanding
Can't wait to get a league going since I passed on Madden 11 for the most part///

That's basically running away from the problem that EA hasn't fixed. Six years in, shouldn't we be past that, at least with respect to this particular problem, by now ?

Not playing randoms is too limiting for me, and with all these improvements to game-play, it would be a shame to still have to only play certain people just so you can make a house rule to avoid the roll and chuck. At some point EA needs to correct the problem. That's if it is actually a problem. It could be on rookie, or in could be the defense that the user was in.

That play didn't give me a good feeling.

I have been encouraged by most of what I had seen except for this. The toned down affects of locomotion and penalties is something that might prevent Madden 12 from being a great NFL football game instead of just an improved EA Madden game. There is a BIG difference in the two.

I understand them not wanting to "punish" some gamers for the way they are accustom to playing Madden but this needs to be addressed this year. I am sure there will be various quality slider sets available from the community but I personally would like Madden to include a preset simulation setting. However, it's probably too late to add that, so since that have added tuner sets to Madden 12, I hope the can release one with tighter locomotion and penalty settings.

I noticed a lot of OSers raved about NCAA 11's initial locomotion tuning, before EA "fixed" it. All self described sim players, should really lobby hard for a simulation tuner set with locomotion, penalties and everything else, tuned "sim to the nth degree" for Madden 12.

Looked similar to 10 to me. Still no real life after the whistle. No life pre snap, and the line play looked crappy. DEs still not getting up field.

Not sure what you guys are seeing, but it looked like same o to me.

Graphics wise the game looked greatly improved. The commentary still sucks though.

Agree. Seems as though many problems that are solved by only playing players you know play sim, are left untouched. Again we have no idea yet about Madden 12, so lets keep fingers crossed. I just hope to find a good sim league here at OS.

That is music to my ears, because I think '08 had the the best setup for fun online games. Not that it has been the best Madden, but for my buck I got the most play out of it. Can't wait to play it tomorrow.
