i can't speak for the other guys here, but i feel that the animations seem smoother on the slower speed. Guys will move in a more appropriate movement because they dont have to compensate for a quicker moving game. in the end it really has to do with the branching animations.

From what i have seen with the new tackle animations, the slower speed might even make the game seem a little more fun .

I am sure USER games will default to the normal settings once again but at least for all the cpu games slow speed seems like the better option based on the video.

There are number of plays where you see some herky jerky movements but when shown right after in the replay slowed down they look phenomenal .

Animations look way better on a slower speed. On normal speed it looks like everybody is playing on ice.

Just watched about 10 minutes of gameplay videos of NCAA 12 and switched to a e3 Madden 12 video. It's like night and day... NCAA 12 look miles ahead in terms of realistic game speed and as pointed out by a fellow OS'er in another thread, the acceleration and overall momentum looks better in NCAA 12 - Madden 12 looks more like an arcade game.

Could be because NCAA releases 6 weeks earlier, not sure, though.
