quarterbacks need a "touch" rating

think about it. this would fix the trajectory problems. and make hopefully make passing alot easier and more realistic.

touch should make it easier to actually lead a receiver cuz idk about you, but i am sick of the receivers always doing the, "ball thrown behind me catch animation"

i also think that touch, along with awareness should become the biggest factor as to how good a qb is in the game.

u watch drills and stuff on tv. any qb can throw to receivers accurately all day when they dont have to worry about dbs or being rushed.

add touch to help determine the ball placement.

and of course awareness is standard.

but i think some qbs should have higher accuracy ratings with lower awareness. and low touch.

this would make qb play alot more realistic in my opinion....

any thoughts??

Ben Roethlisberger would have the highest "touch" rating.

I do agree with having better ball trajectory though.

hahaha

i would just assume an awareness rating would govern the trajectory of the ball to fit it over/under defenders accompanied by accuracy would be an adequate fix. i would love to have an analog passing system in the future for more control but thats another topic...

We really don't need anymore ratings. Like falconfansince81 said, "awareness should govern the trajectory of the ball".

I would rather see a a QB Footwork rating or however you want to say it... Some QB's have bad footwork some have good. Some don't step into the throw correctly and some do so you could take an account for that. Because footwork is a big part for accuracy and the power they put into the ball.
