I have tried and completed all kinds of hot routes and audibles and am not getting any achievements or any unlocks of any kind.

Call a hot route and score a TD with the guy you hot routed. Ex: hot route to a streak and throw a TD. It gives you a code for a chance to win a chevy cruze.
