Re: Saying Goodbye To Madden. Goodbye.

i put my 2 cents in on this. espn has an increadible presention and pretty amazing graphics. there is a lot of things it does right and that madden could take some lessons from. having said that, it just does not feel "right" when playing the game, imo. i'm so used to madden that it is very hard for me to get into espn. plus the running on espn is absolutely atrocious--the players are so jerky when they get out into the open. so it's back to madden for me--i started my franchise tonight and using jstic's sliders (fantastic btw) i had one of the best games ever from a football game.

yeah the madden engine is old and it needs a bit of an overhaul, but i still think madden gets it right in the most important department, gameplay.

Goodbye.
Madden just seemed to be the same game every year, and player ratings still dont really matter. The presentation was almost the exact same as last year, and the stadiums are not that impressive.

The loading times are also a problem

Goodbye!

Thanks for telling us. I'll sleep much better tonight.

Hey Mot. If you don't like the game then get rid of because no one cares what you like. Everyone has their own tastes and preferences. All posting a comment like yours is incite an ESPN-Madden [censored you naughty boy] war. So next time anyone thinks about posting a comment like Mot's just don't. Just get whatever game you like. OperationSports is designed to help people enjoy the game they own more so use it for its intended purpose.

Later. Enjoy ESPN.

IMO, ESPN doesn't come close to Madden. But then again, that's my opinion.

I agree... Madden is pretty bad

Your right warner "crbi" mode is laughable, but almost everything else in ESPN is years better than Madden and this is from a 12 year Madden fan. They have dropped the ball this year. The finally thorn in my butt was the import bug for XBox. In waiting for my replacement disk I rented ESPN (after HATING 2K3) and am loving it. All ESPN needs is college game with the ability to export and its gonna mow Madden totally over. It has a running start already with this years edition.

Agreed, let the flame wars begin. Crib=madden cards
