Does anyone know or heard any information on what the roster cut-off date was for the release day patch.??

Probably the end of July, considering you have dozens of people with the game already, they had to have start printing the game at the beginning of the month.

Ultimately, I don't think it will matter. Considering all the moves that have been made since the lockout was lifted, I don't think EA can get away with not having a roster update available upon release.

There's no doubt in my mind that on August 30th they will have a Day One Patch available upon release! This is the dumbest thing about professional sports! Every team will sign or drop a guy and video game perfectionists will always be like "WHAT THE F DUDE, I DONT HAVE SO AND SO THAT WAS PICKED UP LAST WEEK? F THIS TEAM!

People are gonna have to deal with what's provided. You will never have a fully true game experience in Online Franchise. You take it for what its worth and play!

They already said there will be a day one roster update.

No I know there will be a day one roster update. My question is how up-to-date do you think the update will be. For ex: Will it be Aug 1st etc... Just curious as to if anyone had any definite information. Not too important.

I'm sure they have someone working on all the transactions as they happen and including them in the update so I assume they are including every move that has happened and is going on currently. It will be a roster update just like they'll have throughout the whole season so it will probably be Opening day rosters.

The default rosters are probably falling into the late June-early July range. That's if EA Sports did anything during the lockout phase on the rosters. I'm sure there will be a roster update available upon release. Thanks!
