Just checked my order and Amazon has changed my estimated delivery date to September 1st

Edit: It still says shipment speed is delivery date though. Dang, this kinda sucks lol

For an update, I just chatted online with one of the people at Amazon and they confirmed that I will not receive the game until August 31st or September 1st due to "delays on our (Amazon's) end". I asked if it had anything to do with the hurricane and he said no and reaffirmed the fact that it was just Amazon's fault for the delay and that it was an accident and he feels very sorry.

What does everyone recommend with Amazon? Preorder and get the $20 credit on a future order or wait a couple days after the game is released and buy at a lower price through Amazon/one of their 3rd party sellers? Decisions decisions

Nope. If I recall correctly, it was actually cheaper to order it for release date shipping than the standard shipping for some reason lol.

Edit: Just checked, it cost me like an extra dollar.

I've never gotten a release date game from amazon on time so I've taken to getting it from bestbuy or gamestop. I'm waiting awhile with this edition till I hear how buggy it is.

I would call back, you can definitely get them to give you something for the issue.
