Can't play Franchise Games...!

I just started an offline franchise and simmed the pre-season just fine. Got to week one and went to play my Franchise game and after the Coin Toss the game is paused immediately (I didn't press anything) and I press Resume game but the game keeps pausing itself over and over. The game isn't frozen because I can still hear Collinsworth trying to say something. I can go through the menus fine and even exit out of the game...but I can't play my franchise. What gives? Any ideas?

did you download the latest roster online ?
i think there was a bug on the opening day rosters not sure i just remember reading something about franchise freezes

It's not really a freeze. It just sits at the Pause Screen and when I try to unpause it the game immediately re-pauses. Can't figure out what is wrong.

Ok this is a weird bug. The problem fixed itself after me hitting resume game about 12 times. Odd. By the way the game was played in an 82 degree monsoon in Cleveland..ugh fix the weather.

It sort of sounds like maybe a button was stuck, or maybe the controller was dying.

Read my thread "Can't play in Seattle!" I just started. Figured out the issue...even have a video of the same thing you are explaining. Redownloading the updated roster online fixed the issue.

the game pause cause the control battery is low. It happened to me so i put my ps3 control on the charger and it worked

I don't think so my controller was fully charged.
