Can't progress in Franchise Mode.

I'm in year 4 of my Seahawks Franchise, and I can't seem to sim past another league game. I've already played my game against the Chargers, but I can't progress to next week's game because the Cardinals and 49ers haven't played their game. Yet when I go to sim that game nothing happens. I checked the injury rosters for each team and apparently the Cardinals have all of their 3 middle linebackers on the injury list (two on IR). I don't know what to do, or if there is anything that I can do. My franchise has essentially been frozen. Anyone else encounter this?

is this 32 team controlled chise?

If not, then thats new that the cpu places guys on IR. Did they sign any LBs from FAgency? Count how many active players they have..

Have you tried simming week/season too? I'm guessing no backup save either... looks like the CPU can't play with it's roster and won't sign any FA's. Too bad it's middle of the week or else you could trade them LB's.

Just one team controlled franchise mode (Seattle). They have about 5.6 in cap space, and can afford to sign any MLB in free agency. They have a full roster.

Ugh... that is potentially a huge issue. Have you reported it in the glitch thread?

Maybe try editing one of their scrubs in a position they have extra at over the requirements, then moving them to MLB? It might be enough to fool the position check. This was a huge problem in Madden 08, players would get injured and then franchises would get trapped in a freezing limbo because teams didn't have enough players at certain positions. Couple that with a deleting FA pool and the ability to not be able to edit players made it a nightmare.

Yeah, this one scares me.

Could OP perhaps edit a LOLB or ROLB to be a MLB for 1 game to force the sim? Then edit him back?

Then sign a scrub MLB and force trade it to the CPU team the following week before playing a game? (since you cant trade mid-week where his franchise is currently stuck.)

In any case, someone should post this in the bug thread, this could be a huge issue.
