I'm thinking about renting Madden for the weekend...I'm wondering how updated are the rosters?

I am think of renting it too for the wii.I hear they have updated some thing on it and now I can use my old classic controller now.Madden isnt supposed to be played using a remote.I want to know how well the classic controller will work with this.

The new Madden Wii supports a "Tecmo Bowl" style of play.

The rosters are decently current, but don't expect any preseason cuts to show up.

i'm not sure really, just started a franchise with the Texans and I noticed a player or two who I've never heard of before and UDFA Bryan Braman wasn't in the game.

What does Techno Bowl style play mean.Does that mean the graphics suck.

It means the control scheme that Tecmo Bowl used is available on the Wii.

I'm going to rent Madden 12 one day as well, not in a hurry tho. This gen is so far behind last gen is the reason I can't bring myself to buy it.

This makes me really sad, too.

The rosters arent updated well at all. You can however get a 2 day trial of the online pass to be able to download updated rosters.
