Power Move vs. Finesse Move

If I'm manually controlling a pass rusher, what controls do I have to use to use a power move vs. a finesse move?

I can't seem to find an explanation of this in the in-game control manual.

EDIT: What's the deal with getting pushed down every time?

Re: Power Move vs. Finesse Move

power move is down on the right stick, finesse is left or right on the right stick

Re: Power Move vs. Finesse Move

Thanks, and spin move? I noticed some players have that as an option.

Re: Power Move vs. Finesse Move

you still use left/right with the right stick for spin, players like dwight freeney will spin, where as john abraham will rip/swim

Re: Power Move vs. Finesse Move

if you go to player management and click the left stick it says which moves they utilize and those seem to be the ones the people use. left/right is swim/spin depending on a power/finesse pash rusher. down is supposed to be the power move, but when using stronger people like D tackles and bigger D ends if i hit up on the right stick he completely runs him over. so idk

Re: Power Move vs. Finesse Move

it seems like some players can ONLY spin move. I can't get Mario Williams to do anything other than a really bad spin move and i've heard that Mathis and Freeney have the same problem.

ive heard the same about freeney an if he cant do a spin move well then thats bad programming since his spin move is the best in the nfl

Re: Power Move vs. Finesse Move

well its not that the spin move they gave him is bad. its the spin move in general. for years its seemed that the power moves were alot better programmed then the finesse moves. this year though ive been messing around with the timing on them and it seems if you hit the stick to the left/right fast and right before contact with the oline it works better. just had 4 sacks with trent cole with my sliders that have my pass rush at 30 and the cpu pass blocking at 65
