Superstar import broken?

I tried to import my qb from ncaa football last night, and he ends up being a 98 overall right off the bat! I was wondering if this has been fixed by a patch, and how to download the patch manually.

Or just let ne know how everyone else I've seen import has their rating at anywhere between 76 and 81. I worked really hard on this guy, and I really don't want it to go to waste.

If anyone has a solution for me, I would be soooooo happy.
