Guess the only way around this is controlling all the teams and making the cuts yourself. Talk about micro management....ick. Hope this is fixed by EA.

For them to fix it, they have to acknowledge that it's broken. EA's official stance from Looman is that they did it "to replicate the turnover that happens each year". So they're still in denial/defense mode on this one.

Well if they get enough people to complain they may acknowledge it....(crossing fingers). Guess you can do whatever you want when you have a monopoly.

Hey Manning... still have mine wrapped and sealed...curious, how long does it take to go through and cut the fakes out of every team?

Is it easy for me to know the fakes from real guys or do I have to look over every roster on line to match them up?

Muhammad Wilkerson got released by Jets. I quickly signed him and was a smart move.

Fakes are the only ones who have a 1 yr. contract at $310K.

Re: Releasing 1st round rookies ??

Another option to this problem for at least the first year is to add players from the free agent pool before starting a franchise. For example, the 49ers have 66 players and you could add 9 players from FA randomly or however you want but be careful because if you put too many high salaried players on the team, you'll be over the cap and wont reach the 75 player limit.

Ya that makes no sense, if that was the case why would the Raider keep an 8 year pro over a rookie that they just drafted and plan to test out at QB in the future.

Everything the CPU does it pretty much overall rating based, the CPU has no forthought on developing players or anything. Crazy machanic. Not to mention after 5 years you might not recognize half the league players anymore....
