if you intercept a ball in the endzone...

how do you do a touchback once you intercept the ball in the endzone? if you press triangle you just hurdle across the field, or you can just stand there. both cases you run the risk of a fumble.

i stopped diving with all players because i saw something on this forum about instant fumbles if you dive even without being touched. i'm almost positive that was on this years madden. it may have been resolved already though. i just don't understand why there isn't a button you can press to kneel. you can when you are on the recieving end of a kick/punt return.

if you hold down A, it allows the CPU to play for you until you let go. try that, it would be my guess, since the CPU always kneels interceptions in the endzone.

run out of the back of the endzone, or the sides....AS LONG AS YOU DIDNT LEAVE THE ENDZONE ALREADY.

If your momentum carries you out of the endzone, you have to roll with it.


As long as you don't leave though, you can run out of the back/sides and it will be a touchback.

If you just stop moving your character in the endzone it will usually just kneel it, you don't have to press anything. This is atleast how it is on kick/punt returns in the endzone.

I suggest you run out of bounds. If your in the end zone just run backwards and get out. You'll get it at the 20 Yard line obviously.
