Madden Competitions: Staff and Players Wanted

Hey,

My name is Jonathan and I am an admin from FraggedNation. FraggedNation is a competitive community where gamers can get together to compete in tournaments and ladders.

We have just added and Madden 12 and the ladders are now live. We are planning on implementing a brand new system that lots of our games are adopting that we call ‘The FN Championships’
The FN Championship has 4 seasons a year. Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Qualifying starts in the Fall and continues until the end of the Summer season. Participant’s acquire points for how well place in the regular season and how well they do in playoffs. Their points accumulate throughout the whole year and determines if they qualify for the FN Championship and how they will be seeded.
This system works great with sports games because the FN Championship is an annual event and sports games release every year. This allows us to proclaim the champion of the FN championship the all time FN champion for the sports game that they win. This great achievement is one of the greatest contests that a gamer could win.

These games are also looking for staff. You can apply to be either a Head Admin which is designated to manage specific ladder(s). There is also Game Directors. Game Directors manage a specific game and oversee all the contests within their game and the Head Admins who manage them.

FN Championships
Playoffs

At the end of the season, the top teams (the number will be dependent on active participants) will be seeded into a Playoff Bracket. The seeds will correspond with the teams final placement in the ladder.

Points

At the end of each Playoff Bracket (for each of the four seasons) the top (undecided) number of teams will receive points based on placing.

Example:
1st Place Team - 32 Points
2nd Place Team - 30 Points
3rd Place Team - 28 Points
etc...

Points will be accumulated over each season until the beginning of the next years Fall season. Points will be stored via trophy on the teams profile. If you leave a team, you do not keep your points. If you delete your team, you do not keep your points. If you replace a team member, the leaving member will not take any points. Points are COMPLETELY tied to the team. Points are used to seed the FN Championship Series.

FN Championship Series (Implementing This Fall)

The FN Championship Series is a once a year tournament. It is seeded by all of the points accumulated by each team over the year. The FN Championship Series will be held before the next years Fall season.

Example of Seeding for FN Championships

1st Seed - Highest number of points
2nd Seed- Second highest number of points
3rd Seed - Third highest number of points
4th Seed - Fourth highest number of points
and so on....

The winners of the FN Championship Series will be crowned the year’s #1 team. Who will take the top spot?
